Thank Him

Most of you already know,
I'm going to Switzerland!

I will be leaving in three months and it all seems so unreal...

A while back I read on Ann's blog about blessings. I have been thinking on how little time I have left in this season of my life. Who knows what will happen after those six months I am gone... Things will never again be as they are now.

So I want to remember.

I want to praise Him for who He is to me. In this moment.

For the gifts of His love that surround me. For these precious few days I have left.

I will praise His beauty in the now.

God, awaken the eyes of my heart to see the beauty, the good, the pure, the lovely, and the right. I will see You.

"Those who look to Him are radiant, their faces are never covered with shame." Psalm 34:5

Hope

Beginning to see.

Hope means hoping when things are hopeless, or it is no virtue at all... As long as matters are really hopeful, hope is mere flattery or platitude; it is only when everything is hopeless that hope begins to be a strength.

Sleep Walking

Watch for rocks.
The signs
repeat our fears.
The weight
crashing down
upon these
worlds
we make
in our minds.
Upon
the beauty
the glory
that swirls
in our hearts.

A thousand
little pieces
shimmer
bleeding
this great
disaster
how and why
Who am I?
No. Who are YOU.

We take them
We tape them
We put them away.
Tomorrow
In the morning
Maybe someday.
Living these
falling petals.

Grace sufficient
we wait
Healing and mercy
we wait
Come to Me
He cries
and we wait.
Now come to Me
still we wait.

Wake up, oh sleeper
arise.
Forerunning the morning
they smile.
sweet children of Abba
precious ones

take off the world
as a garment
gather the broken
slivers of life
the tears drops
that pained you to numbness
let My hand restore
My breath of love
make whole.

Come to Me.

I Am LIFE.

There is NO other.

"He is already here. Present in this heart. Always faithful. Always near. Never does He forsake us. It is not a matter of Him coming to us. For He already did. He came into our world. Resurrection Life. Gifts of His indwelling love, Forever, breathed into the heart of man. The Spirit of Truth ever with us. It is a matter of us coming to Him. Opening the doors and letting Love in. For God is Love."

They awaken.
These eyes
deep within.
Rising from
slumber.
To realize
His glory
To praise
the Infinite
the Ancient

My Abba Father.

"But you recieved the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children."
Romans 8:15-16

I will lift my eyes.
